Quark Expeditions — a premium polar expedition company offering luxury cruises to Antarctica and the Arctic from Canada and the US — had a low eCommerce conversion rate and needed to migrate from an ageing Drupal CMS to a modern WordPress platform. The UX across the booking journey was creating friction and preventing potential customers from converting, despite strong brand awareness.
Our Approach
Executed structured Conversion Rate Optimisation with a test-and-learn framework. Planned and launched 35 high-impact A/B tests and personalised user experiences targeting key journey drop-off points. Led the full Drupal-to-WordPress platform migration, improving site speed, technical SEO, and the overall performance foundation. Advised on UX design optimisations throughout the migration.
The Results
3× uplift in journey-to-lead-start conversion rate. 35 effective CRO tests executed and documented. +$300,000 additional GMV unlocked from improved conversion efficiency. Full CMS migration completed with improved site speed and SEO performance as measured post-launch.
